General Information

Vehicle Security

Please display your sticker in the window of your vehicle during your stay and ensure the reception has your registration number logged.

Cars

All cars must be registered before or on arrival. Extra cars are charged at £6.00 per night if arranged on arrival. Extra cars must be registered and parked either on your pitch, next to your accommodation or in our designated car parks.

EV Car Charging 

Simply & quickly charge your electric car with hourly tokens available from Reception - keeping you green! All information can be found on the charging station or in your vehicle handbook.

Pop in to Reception to purchase your tokens.

Security Barrier

Please note that security barriers are in operation for your security - access to the park is restricted between the hours of 11.30pm - 7.30am. The barrier will rise automatically for exit. 

Camping & Touring

We politely remind you that when camping and touring on Electrical and Super Pitches, the electric supply is a maximum of 10amp. Please ensure that your tent/touring caravan, awning and car are kept within your pitch boundaries and not parked on other pitches.

Recycling 

Our recycling areas are situated on Avenue 2, 6, 10, below Avenue 5/3, and at the rear of the Clubhouse for paper, card, plastic and tins. A bottle bank is also available for mixed glass at the rear of the Clubhouse.

Refuse Collection

Please bag all your rubbish and place it in the nearest bin bay area. 

Departure

Guests are requested to vacate their accommodation by 10am and pitches by 11am. Please remember to leave keys at Reception. If you are leaving before Reception opens at 8am, please post your keys through the letterbox on the wall outside the main doors. 

Maintenance

Please report any maintenance issues to Reception between the hours of 8am - 8pm. Any non-urgent issues reported after 8pm will be dealt with the following day.

Post Office

Our on site shop sells postcards and stamps and we would be happy to post them for you. Please take any post to Reception. Our closest Post Offices are at Woolacombe garage, Woolacombe village & Ilfracombe high street.

Swimming Pool Security 

As a requirement of the law, and for your safety, a coded push button control is used on the swimming pool doors. Please do not give this code to any unauthorised users of the swimming pool, the code is for your use only and will be issued on arrival (codes may change. Please see Reception).

Please note that all children under 16yrs, and any non-swimmers, must be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs in the swimming pools at all times. Lockers are located in the indoor swimming pool changing rooms, which can be operated by a returnable £1 coin. All property is left at the owners risk - the company will not accept liability for items lost, however caused.

Wi-Fi 

The Wi-Fi service is simple and easy to use and is ideal for basic internet access, such as catching up on emails, general browsing and accessing social media. The security of your device is your responsibility, and we recommend that your firewall and anti-virus software is correctly configured and up to date. 

Basic Wi-Fi is free of charge and is accessible in most areas using password 'WoollyBear'. This service may also be used from some holiday homes and camping/touring pitches, however accessibility and signal strength will vary across the Holiday Park. Wi-Fi access is not guaranteed or included in the cost of your holiday package.

Premium Wi-Fi is currently available to purchase from Reception, which can be used within the Clubhouse and some holiday homes, to stream video content and download media.  The following charges will provide Wi-Fi access for up to 3 devices:

1 Day - £5.00
3 Days - £10.00
7 Days - £20.00
1 Month - £30.00 or £35 for 5 devices
6 Months - £75.00 or £90 for 5 devices

How to get to Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park

If you are travelling by car, enter postcode EX34 7AF into your SatNav. Please be advised there are ongoing road improvements to the North Devon Link Road which may cause travel delays. Please click here for up to date travel information to plan ahead for your journey.

If you are travelling by public transport, the nearest train station is located in Barnstaple and is approximately 40 mins away from Woolacombe. You can travel to Woolacombe either by bus or taxi. Bus timetables and taxi numbers for Woolacombe are linked above, there are usually taxis stationed outside Barnstaple train station.
