Pre-Arrival Frequently Asked Questions

 

What time can we check in?
Check in time is either 2pm or 4pm depending on your grade of accommodation. Please do not arrive any earlier than 1pm as we sadly will not be able to allow you on site. This will help to reduce the cross over of leaving guests, staff and arriving guests. Please note: On arrival there is a 'Booking In' parking bay just shortly after the entrance. Please park here and walk down to Reception.

What if we arrive early?
If you do need to arrive at Woolacombe before 1pm, there is plenty to do in Woolacombe, including 3 large car parks (Parkins Estate 2 beach car parks, and Marine Drive), and also lots to do in the area.

As mentioned above, we sadly will not be able to allow you on site until 1pm. We understand that you want to get your holiday started however we will be busy getting accommodation ready for your arrival.

What is the check in procedure?
When you arrive, please check in at Reception with your full name and booking reference. Our team will confirm your details, therefore please ensure you have all your relevant info to hand i.e. car registration. 

I am going to arrive quite late, what time is reception open until?
Monday, Friday and Saturday's reception is open until 10pm.  If you think you will arrive after 10pm, please call the Booking Office who will arrange for your check-in information to be left behind the bar, and you shall head there to get your keys/pitch number. Please note; for Touring & Camping bookings, check-in must be no later than 10.30pm to ensure as little disturbance as possible to other guests, and self catering no later than 11pm. Unfortunately we cannot permit arrivals after 11pm.

Where can we park our car?
You can park your car next/near to your accommodation. Please ensure you know your vehicle registration number so we can register your car when we check you in. 2 bedroom accommodations are allowed 1 car parking space free of charge and 3 bedroom accommodations are allowed 2 car parking spaces free of charge. If you need to register any additional cars, this will cost £5 per car per night prior to arrival or £6 per car per night on arrival, and will need to be parked in one of our car parks.

What extras do you provide?
We provide the duvet and the pillows but not the linen.

Single Linen: £5
Double Linen: £10
Bed Making on Arrival (all beds apart from the sofa bed): £15 
Towels: £5 per towel for the duration of your stay
Starter Packs: £25 - includes tea, coffee, sugar, butter, bread, milk (choose your own bread and milk), cereals, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, scourer and dish cloth
High Chair/Cots/Bed Guard: £15 each per break
Prosecco or Champagne on arrival: £19.99 per Prosecco bottle 75cl / £45.00 per Champagne bottle 75cl

You can add these extras to your booking by logging in here. Log in using your Booking Number and Surname and this will show you a breakdown of your booking.  At the top of the page select 'Add Extras' and you will be able to add the extras you require and make a payment for these. You can do this up to 3 days before your check in date. It is as simple as that!

Please note any later than 3 days, you will not be able to add any extra items to your booking and you will need to purchase linen or towels at Reception on arrival. 

Please note that linen, towels, high chairs and cots that are hired on arrival will incur a surcharge of £1. 
You will not be able to purchase these at Reception. We ask that once you are in your accommodation, please call reception to add these to your booking and we will take payment over the phone. House Keeping will deliver this to you safely. We cannot make beds once you have arrived.

Is it too late to upgrade our accommodation?
Not at all! Call us so we can discuss your options and the cost.

Is it too late to request a particular accommodation?
No, if there is a particular accommodation number you would like, please call us and we will have a look to see if this is available. There will be a £15 charge added to your booking called the Specific Requirement Fee and this will ensure you are guaranteed that particular accommodation or pitch. This is subject to availability. 

Requests without the Specific Requirement Fee are not guaranteed. 

What comes with our self catering accommodation?
The kitchen has a family sized cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. They are equipped with a flat screen TV, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.  If any are missing when you are staying with us, please let us know and we can get these to you as soon as possible. Some accommodation, including our new Gold and Platinum ranges have full sized fridges and freezers.

Can we extend our stay?

We are bringing a dog, do you have any information that will help us plan for our holiday?

Please note; you must inform us if you are bringing a dog, so that we can ensure you are in a pet friendly accommodation. If we are not informed that you are bringing a dog, and your accommodation is a pet free grade, we will not be able to permit you to holiday.

What is the nearest supermarket?
We have an on-site shop that sells everything you need from fresh fruit and veg, frozen foods, camping and touring items, dog items, bakery, 'free from' range, takeaway food options such as breakfast options, jacket potatoes, pizza's! Yum! All at competitive prices.

Please note we do NOT allow supermarket deliveries on site. 

We can no longer attend our holiday, what do we need to do?
If you could kindly email us to let us know and we can then discuss your options. We do need confirmation of your cancellation in writing please.

What time do we need to check out?
Please ensure you check out by 10am by handing your keys into Reception or by posting them into the metal key drop box which is located outside Reception. If you are staying on one of our camping or touring pitches, we politely ask that you vacate your pitch by 11am. There is no need for camping or touring guests to check out at Reception.
